Adebayo Adebowale is a successful real estate investor, real estate agent with eXp Realty LLC and CEO of ABIARI LLC, a real estate consulting and coaching company. It all started in 2012, when Bayo immigrated to the US from Nigeria and became a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
“However, I’ve always had a strong passion for real estate, so I started learning real estate investing in 2014 and eventually decided to become a real estate agent as well in Houston, Texas. Now, I’ve been investing in real estate since 2015”, he recounts.
But as we all know, real estate is not an easy industry. Quite the opposite. In fact, it can be a tough competition. A good real estate agent and investor must be personable, have a deep understanding of the market, have a strong sales history & experience and have great communication skills, be motivated and hard-working, have a problem-solver mindset, and much more!
At different points in the process, the real estate agent is a salesperson, a buyer’s advocate, an analyst, a business manager, a consultant, a negotiator and a marketer, just to name a few.
Bayo has all these qualities and, even more, he really cares about people and helps them build wealth through real estate. “Now I am using my knowledge I acquired over the years to teach people real estate which is a great passion, purpose and blessing to me”, he shares.
To date, he owns several investment properties and he’s putting plans to purchase a 100 unit multifamily apartment builder. Thanks to his great work, commitment and passion, Bayo has risen to become a real estate industry leader in Houston,Texas and in the HoustonTexas suburb markets of Katy, Richmond, Cypress and Fulshear Texas.
For Bayo, having the right mindset is everything both in the business world and in real life. “Everything is possible is key. No matter the problem or situation, someone somewhere has the solution. Our responsibility is to identify those with solutions and align with them”, he adds.
He is also the author of the successful book “Lessons from My Dad: Six principles For
Building a Successful Life”, a book that he wrote in honor of his father, who passed away in 2006 and was a great pillar in Bayo’s life. In fact, much of the success that Bayo has achieved today is due in part to the great teachings of his father.
“Now I’m living my own purpose by helping people buy and sell real estate, educating people in real estate, empowering people in my community by putting out messages on social media, through my speaking engagements, and now through my book. Everyone that comes across me or that crosses my path as I help them buy and sell real estate or they seek advises from me to create a better future for themselves I make sure to impact them in a positive way”, Bayo concludes.
